We leverage data and GIS to spatially view variables that affect crop yields, erosion and drought risk, and crop scouting with an objective of identifying problem areas in agricultural fields using NIR (near-infrared) satellite imagery analysis to provide Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) Field Health Report. GIS is also critical in precision farming and land management including crop modeling for yield and production forecast, identification of crop health and diseases during the cycle of growth and monitoring soil status/conditions, and weather Forecast and patterns (Temperature and Precipitation).
We promote use of spatial data to Quantify Climate related Risks and enable governments and communities to anticipate and remedy the impacts of rapid climate change with robust solutions. Through using spatial data, we are able to assess the potential risks of climate change on various geospatial features such as infrastructure, water resources, and natural ecosystems thus helping in climate adaptation through developing strategies to minimize the impacts of climate change on these areas. Use of spatial data in modeling changes in species distributions, biodiversity, and ecosystem services in response to climate change.
Geoanalytics
Location-based data, combined with powerful analytics, puts a wealth of information at your fingertips and is the foundation for smart decision-making.
Geoanalytical site selection
Geoanalytical site selection helps you make robust decisions on where to locate your new facility, transport route, franchise and more. GIS People works with you to combine factors into a single map output layer that pinpoints the best site locations.
Site selection typically references many geographic factors from environmental, social and economic data sets, including:
Land use
Distance to areas of population
Demographics
Proximity to public transport
Proximity to main roads
Environmentally sensitive areas
Specific data from your business
Predictive Analytics
Clients who use geospatial predictive analytics have a competitive advantage over those who don’t. By analysing trends and spatial patterns, it is possible to develop predictive models that help you decide where to aim your business, and stay ahead of your competitors.
Factors such as demographics, infrastructure and environment all influence business outcomes, and location data for these is used in predictive analytics.
It allows you to make well-informed predictions about future events, such as what opportunities may arise, where to invest in the future, and how to identify risky ventures.
ETL (Extract/Transform/Load)
Manipulating and converting data for internal databases can be a difficult and time-consuming task. GARTS helps you to manage all or parts of your data manipulation efficiently and effectively. The team at GARTS includes industry experts in the design and implementation of ETL processes.
Great for you
Reveal crucial geospatial information and expose hidden geographic relationships to make better location-related decisions. Gain geospatial insight with the ability to quickly show cartographic information, enabling clients gain insight into patterns not easily interpreted through tables or charts to better understand the whole story that lives within their data.

Go beyond map visualizations to understand and analyze geospatial relationships. Broad location-related use cases with a full spectrum of mapping and geospatial capabilities that share a common set of tools and technologies that meet the needs of a wide variety of location-related use cases.
